Norton In Hales C of E (VC) Primary School
Norton in Hales has a very successful Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School, providing education for up to 105 children between the ages of 4 and 11. We have 4 classes Daisy (Reception and year 1)Chamomile (Year 1/2), Hollyhock (Class 3/4) and Angelica (Year 5/6), a school hall, on-site kitchen and offer before and after school care from 7.30 – 6.00pm. We have also recently refurbished our playground and now have a running track and artificial turf playground.

Mrs Angela Alkureishi is the current head teacher, who took up her post in September 2017. Mrs Alkureishi was previously Acting Head and Deputy in several inner city London Schools, mainly serving in Greenwich and Lewisham, London.
Our school motto Aim, Believe and Achieve draws all of us – pupils, staff, governors, parents and the wider community – together in a pursuit of excellence, which values spiritual as well as academic development. We are a small school and very proud of the special family atmosphere embedded in our culture. Our dedicated teachers work to ensure every child is supported by both cherishing and challenging them to fulfil their potential, and to experience the joy and satisfaction that this brings.
Sports activities, music lessons, forest school and a range of after-school clubs supplement and enrich our curriculum. We encourage our pupils to discover their passions, and aim to provide all ourpupils with the necessary support to nurture their individual talents.
The children are at the centre of everything we do at Norton-in-Hales School. Having a sense of participation, ownership and involvement is of the utmost importance. They are actively involved in the decision-making process and are encouraged to participate on the School Council, in the planning and delivery of assemblies and annual productions, and proudly represent the school at a number of sporting events.
Our Christian values of Respect, Kindness, Courage, Determination and Enthusiasm inform all that we do together – both in the classroom and around school, and beyond the school gates.
