The Opening Meet of the North Staffordshire Hunt took place in the beautiful grounds of Brand Hall, Norton in Hales, courtesy of Mr & Mrs Michael Taylor. After heavy overnight rain the morning was largely dry but with a moody sky as over 40 riders and around 100 foot followers enjoyed the generous hospitality of the hosts at the start of the 2017-18 season. The Joint Master, Mr Jonathan Jarrett MFH, gave a warm welcome to everyone and thanked Michael and Lizzie Taylor for again making the Hunt, its members and followers so welcome. The Hunt moved away at around 11am.
