Ann Holland, Chair of the Norton in Bloom Group, kindly agreed to judge the Norton in Hales Parish Council's "Best Front Garden Competition 2018" . This took place on Tuesday evening, 14th August. Here, Ann, fresh from her time in Durham, Carlisle and Rochdale, where she was a Royal Horticultural Society's Britain in Bloom Competition Judge, is greeted by Parish Council Chairman Peter M Eardley on the village green. The awards will be made at the annual 'Celebration Evening' scheduled for October in the Jubilee Hall, where Ann will also speak about her experiences as a RHS Judge in the Small Town and Large Village categories, details later".
