At the Norton in Hales Parish Council meeting last evening, 24th October 2018, after a 30 minute public participation period, under the Chairmanship of Cllr Peter Eardley, the council unanimously resolved to object to the planning application Ref.18/04555/FUL being the proposed 32,000 Poultry Unit on land between Betton and Norton in Hales. The council's decision will be conveyed shortly to the Shropshire Planning Dept (Wem), Shire Hall, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND.
