The Norton team of bellringers (pictured in front of the church) rang the bells half-muffled for 45 minutes prior to the Service of Remembrance in the church. After the service, a ceremony took place at the bus shelter for the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate those Norton in Hales parishioners who fought and fell in armed service for their country. The ceremony was led by David Rigby on behalf of the Friends of Norton in Hales and the plaque was unveiled by Cllr Peter Eardley, Chairman of Norton in Hales Parish Council.
